David was a Hero from a young age, always the first to show up if you needed someone. He was honored to fight for our country’s freedoms and felt every able young man should serve in some capacity. His electric personality and quick wit are greatly missed by those who loved him. May all their sacrifices never be forgotten.
David’s drive and dedication to our military was just a small piece of who he was. He was quick witted, energetic, intelligent, a natural born leader, kind-hearted and the one everyone called to help out. David had decided by 13 that he would join the military and always believed it was every able-bodied young man’s duty to serve our great nation.
He tested out his senior year in 4 days and didn’t mind giving up prom, senior break, football, soccer, track or graduation with friends he’d known a lifetime.
He was a great kid and he is greatly missed by all who knew him. He was my Hero from day one.
