The Elkins West Virginia Gold Star Families Memorial Monument was dedicated on July 5 2025. The project committee was led by Chairperson J. Dan McCarthy and included Jeff Disibbio, James Peterson, Kristie Vandevander, Donald Lambert, and
Rick Macak. This group of individuals came together with a common goal to make sure that we never forget.
