National Cemetery Administration, in partnership with Carry The Load and Just Serve, is organizing the National Day of Service to commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11 on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10:00 am (local time). The event includes a brief ceremony and instructions to volunteers on headstone cleaning and beautification.
This is a great service opportunity for employee engagement, youth groups, and individuals. Participants are encouraged to post on a Veteran’s memorial page at VA’s Veterans Legacy Memorial.
