The Veterans Memorial Park-Tampa Gold Star Families Memorial Monument was dedicated on October 11, 2025. The project committee was led by Chairpersons Dave Braun and Suzy Hunt and included Annette Kirk GSM, Lorrie Fleming GSM, Jeff Sklut, USCG Ret., Mary Ellen Harlan, Michelle Heckshuer, Tom Fletcher, Advisor, Toni Gross GSM, Advisor, and Hal Youmans, Advisor. This group of individuals came together with a common goal to make sure that we never forget.
