Veterans Corner: A busy fall for veterans

The dedication of the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Forks Transit Center. The guest speaker is Hershel Woody Williams, the last living Marine WWII Medal of Honor recipient. All are welcome to attend the ceremony.

Mr. Williams started the Hershel Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation and began building these monuments all over the United States to honor the families of servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the military.
