SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — The City of South Jordan on Saturday held a groundbreaking ceremony for Salt Lake County’s first Gold Star Families Memorial Monument.
Jennie Taylor, whose husband, Maj. Brent Taylor, died in Afghanistan, spoke at the ceremony to underscore how Gold Star Families are strong and vulnerable.
Once complete, it will be Utah’s third such monument.
